Daufuskie Island Indigo Row

For those of you who don't know what this is, what you are looking at is the first row of Indigo grown on Daufuskie Island in over 200 years.

Indigo is the plant that is used to make the blue dye for jeans. As you can imagine, this was a very profitable crop.
