Groundhog Day and Changes at Freeport

Happy Ground Hog Day! We are lucky here on Daufuskie Island as is it very unlikely that we will see too much cold weather, and almost a zero chance of snow! Around these parts, we would rather be surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, sandy beaches, and beautiful nature. Anytime of year is a great time to visit us at Freeport Marina on Daufuskie Island, SC.

We are very excited to announce there will be some amazing new changes here at the Marina. We will be operating a kayak rental service, our waterfront cottages will be fully renovated into amazing rentals, private venue functions for family reunions or coorporate retreats, restaurant renovations, and so much more!

The entire Freeport Marina staff is excited to see our regulars, as well as some new faces on the Island this year!
