Dan, 1230 CrossFit

Conditioning:

Teams of 2: 3 Rounds: 100 Calorie Row/Bike 50 deficit pushup (using bumpers, DB's or hardest..KBS) 400m Team Run-together

-Pushups: scale to regular pushup or incline pushup to a box. We need to do a better job here of maintaining that flat back with toes staying on the ground thru the entire movement.-

Midline: Double Tabata

Cooldown: Group stretch

We often see the bench press/ pushups used for strength work, but not often in conditioning pieces. Partnering up allows us enough space and equipment to execute this today. The bench press/ pushup is a great movement to complement our more frequently seen overhead presses. It works the deltoids and the triceps, which are both used when going overhead. This transferability keeps it functional and constantly varied.
